Welcome to Farndon Cricket Club
We play our cricket on Saturday in the Gunn & Moore South Nottinghamshire Cricket League
The 1st Team play in Division DThe 2nd Team play in Division N
Sunday cricket is played in the Newark Cricket Alliance Div.1
Also we play evening cricket in the Newark Evening League.
The Football Club and Bowls Club are also situated here.
The Club was founded at the beginning of the last century.
There is a picture in the pavilion of the 1921 1st X1 which won the Ransomes cup.
The club played for many years on a field off School Lane, but in 1973 the club moved to it's present location.
However, we are a club that not only enjoys playing cricket, we also enjoy the social side of cricket. Our bar is open every Friday evening from 8pm until 11.00 pm commencing the beginning of April until the middle of October , and on all match days during the week and weekend (children are also welcome).
